Is forex trading forbidden/haram in Islam?

  • Dear friend Fred-Maj,
    Yes, but it should not be a matter of concern as all human beings are now connected through the world wide web into trading using computers in their lifetime on the earth.

    And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Holy Bible Hebrews 9:27)

    And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (Holy Bible John 5:29)

    No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. (Holy Bible 1 John 4:12)

    Source(s):

    And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. (Holy Bible 1 Corinthians 6:11,20)

    Taking interest/usury is forbidden/haram. Trading with what you don't have in order to exploit the interest is fraudulent, ripping off others and haram. Someone has to pay for what you're taking.
